Bitcoin Near $63K After ETF Inflows Snap The Outflow Streak: What Traders Should Confirm Next

Bitcoin’s move back toward $63,000 came with renewed ETF inflows, but traders still need confirmation from spot depth, futures funding and liquidation risk.

Bitcoin traded near $63,000 on July 6 after nearly $224 million moved into crypto-related ETFs, according to Economic Times. The move matters because ETF demand had recently been a weak point for the market, and a positive flow day can change short-term sentiment quickly after a string of withdrawals.

Farside’s Bitcoin ETF flow table also showed a July rebound after heavy late-June and early-July outflows, while SoSoValue and CoinGlass continue to track spot ETF assets and daily flow data. For traders, the important question is not whether one inflow day is bullish by itself. The better question is whether the ETF bid repeats, whether spot volume expands with price, and whether leverage stays controlled.

The derivatives signal is especially important. If BTC rises while perpetual funding remains moderate and open interest grows slowly, the move is less likely to be purely leverage-driven. If funding spikes and liquidation clusters build above and below price, the same rally can become fragile because forced exits may amplify the next reversal.

A practical watchlist for the next sessions is simple: daily ETF net flow, Coinbase or U.S.-session premium, BTC spot volume, perpetual funding, open interest, and liquidation heat maps. If those indicators line up, the rebound has better quality. If ETF flow improves but spot depth stays thin, traders should treat the move as a relief rally until confirmed.

Risk notice: This article is for market education only and is not investment advice. Bitcoin, ETFs and perpetual contracts can move sharply, and one day of inflows does not guarantee a durable trend.
