Binance published fresh notices on July 10 covering SK Hynix-linked products, including a USD?-M SKHYUSDT perpetual contract and a separate update to the capped funding rate for SKHYNIXUSDT. The key trading point is not the brand name alone. It is that a crypto futures venue can package exposure to a traditional equity or ADR reference into a perpetual format with crypto-style margin, funding and around-the-clock trading rules.
That creates a different checklist from a normal BTC or ETH trade. Traders need to know the underlying reference, settlement asset, tick size, minimum notional value, funding settlement frequency, capped funding rate and leverage limit. Binance’s SKHYUSDT notice says the contract tracks the price of SK Hynix Inc. ADR and lists USDT settlement, a 5 USDT minimum notional value, eight-hour funding settlement and a capped funding rate of plus or minus 2.00%. Those details shape both trading cost and liquidation risk.
The related SKHYNIXUSDT capped-funding notice matters because new or thin reference products can require temporary rule changes while liquidity and index quality develop. A funding cap does not remove risk. It only bounds one part of the funding-fee mechanism for a stated period. Price gaps, basis moves and forced liquidations can still dominate the trade.
For active traders, the practical approach is to treat every stock-linked crypto perpetual as a contract-specification trade first and a directional trade second. Check whether the product is available in your region, whether the reference asset is an ADR or ordinary share, when funding settles, and whether leverage is appropriate for an instrument that can react to both equity-market news and crypto-market liquidity.

Risk notice: This article is educational commentary, not investment advice. Futures, leverage and stock-linked crypto products can create losses larger than expected, especially around new listings and rule transitions.
